DC Bench Supply

Just a quick, little update. As we have been working on our robot, we have needed a good source of DC power in various voltages. Campus labs have pretty nice variable supplies, but we can’t always be on campus. DC supplies tend to be a little pricey, so David and I decided to convert an ATX PC power supply to a usable bench supply. This is my personal one, and I followed these links to do it. It turned out great and cost me fractions of what a normal supply would.

Sorry for the lack of non-technical updates. It is just where I am at now. Lots of work being done rapidly. I promise I am working on something not related at all to engineering work though. I think it is coming along awesomely, too.
